Should you choose Meeto or Webex?

Choose Meeto if

  • Your free calls run past 40 minutes but have 10 people or fewer.
  • Clients book a time on your own booking page, and the meeting is created with each booking.
  • You want to pay month to month: $6.99 a month for one host, or $69 a year.
  • You want a call button or an embedded call on your website, free on every plan.

Choose Webex if

  • Your meetings have more than 25 people.
  • You need breakout rooms, polls, phone dial-in or streaming to YouTube.
  • You need end-to-end encrypted meetings.
  • Your company already uses Webex calling and messaging.

Which free plan fits your meetings?

The two free plans trade size for time. Webex Free holds up to 100 people but stops at 40 minutes; Meeto Free holds 10 and runs 60 minutes, with warnings 5 minutes and 1 minute before the end.

  • A one-hour client session or interview: Meeto Free covers it; on Webex Free it would end after 40 minutes.
  • A class or town hall of 30 or more: Webex Free fits; Meeto does not, even on a paid plan.
  • A workshop that splits into groups: Webex has breakout rooms on every plan; Meeto has none.
  • Calls people book with you: Meeto's free account includes a booking page that creates the meeting for each booking.

An instant Meeto link expires after the free hour; scheduled and booking links can be reused. See the full limits on the pricing page.

What Meeto does not do

Meeto is built for small meetings that start from a link, a booking page or a website button. Paid plans hold up to 25 participants, and Meeto does not offer:

  • End-to-end encryption
  • Webinars or livestreaming
  • Breakout rooms
  • Polls
  • Phone dial-in
  • SSO / SAML single sign-on
  • Live captions over the call video

If any of these is a requirement, test it in Webex or another tool first. The full Meeto limits are on the pricing page and the security overview.
