Make a video call without a download
A guest should be able to click a link and start talking. Meeto puts the lobby, camera and microphone controls in the browser, so a host can send one meeting link instead of a software-install checklist.
Three steps from link to conversation
1. Create
Open Meeto and select a new meeting. The host receives the room link and can copy it immediately.
2. Share
Send the link through the channel your guest already uses. No installer, extension or separate desktop client is required.
3. Join
The guest enters a display name, checks camera and microphone permissions, and selects Join. Screen sharing and chat are available inside the call.
A small preflight prevents most failed joins
- Use a current browser. Update the browser if it has not been updated recently.
- Allow the right devices. When the browser asks, allow camera and microphone access for the Meeto room. A guest can still join with only audio or with both devices off.
- Close competing apps. Another meeting app using the camera or microphone can prevent a browser from selecting the device.
- Try a different network. Corporate VPNs and firewalls sometimes block real-time media. The support guide explains what to check with an administrator.

Can I make a video call without downloading software?
Yes. Meeto runs the call in a current desktop or mobile browser. A host creates a room at meeto.me, then guests open the link and join from the browser lobby.
Do guests need a Meeto account?
No. Guests can join an invited room without creating an account. An account is useful for hosts who want a booking page, reusable settings or paid features.
Which browsers can join a Meeto call?
Use a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browser with camera and microphone permissions available. If a work network blocks media, the guest may need to ask its administrator to allow the call service.
Will the call work on a phone?
Yes. Guests can join from a current mobile browser, and Meeto also provides iOS and Android apps for people who prefer an installed calling experience.
