1. How to delete your account

The fastest way is directly in the Meeto mobile app — no email or support request needed:

1. Sign in and open the More tab, then Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Account section and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm twice. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

An active subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play is not cancelled automatically— cancel it in your store’s subscription settings.

Alternatively, you can request deletion by email at privacy@meeto.me. To confirm ownership and process your request:

1. Send the email from the address your account is registered to — the same Google or Apple address you use to sign in.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
3. We confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.

Anonymous rooms (created without signing in) are not tied to any account and are deleted automatically after 24 hours of inactivity — you do not need to do anything for those.

2. What gets deleted

• Account data — your name, email address and avatar.
• Your room ownership and host settings.
• Booking pages you created.
• Call-quality metrics tied to your account.

3. What may be retained (and for how long)

Some data may be kept for a limited time after your account is deleted, where required by law or for security reasons. It is deleted automatically once the applicable period expires:

• Security recordings — kept for up to 90 days in encrypted storage, accessible only for abuse investigations or lawful requests, then deleted automatically.
• Recordings a host started— kept for 7–30 days (the host’s choice), then deleted automatically.
• Abuse reports — kept for 90 days.
• Anonymized aggregate statistics that no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely.
