Remote teams
Run your team's stand-ups and weekly meetings as one recurring series
Schedule a stand-up or a weekly team meeting once, as a recurring series, and every date keeps the same Meeto link. Teammates get one invitation, a reminder email before each meeting and a browser link that needs no app. On Pro or Team, the host can add an AI summary with decisions and action items to any meeting of the series.
How do you set up a recurring stand-up in Meeto?
Create one scheduled meeting with a repeat rule and invite the team by email. Meeto expands the rule into dates, sends the invitations and reminds people before each meeting.
- Open Meetings and schedule. Use the schedule form, or click an empty slot in the Week view to open a small scheduling window right next to it.
- Choose the rhythm. Pick “Every weekday (Mon–Fri)” for a stand-up, a weekly rule on chosen days for a planning meeting, every two weeks for a sprint review, or a monthly rule such as the first Monday. “Custom…” covers intervals up to 99 days, weeks, months or years.
- Decide how it ends. A series can run with no end date, until a date, or for a set number of meetings (from 2 to 730). A quarter-long project rhythm can end on its own.
- Invite the team. Add teammates by email. The invitation states the rule in words (for example, “every week on Monday and Thursday”) and carries a calendar file; each person's yes or no applies to the whole series.
- Pick the reminders. Choose up to two reminder emails per meeting: 1 day, 1 hour or 15 minutes before. New meetings start with one hour; a stand-up usually works better with 15 minutes.
- Check for clashes. While the Week view's window is open, it draws the series on the grid and marks dates that land on busy time in your connected calendar, before any invitation goes out.
The scheduling guide covers connecting a calendar first, so the clash check and your own calendar copy of the meeting work from day one.
What happens week to week
The series stays one item that you manage in one place, while each date can still change on its own.
One link for every date
Every meeting in the series uses the same link, so it can live in a team channel, a calendar event or a wiki page. A guest who opens it early sees when the meeting starts.
Move or cancel one date
The series panel lists the next dates. Move one date for a holiday or cancel it; invited guests get a cancellation for that date only, and the other dates stay.
Extend before it runs out
When a series with an end is close to its last meeting, the panel says so and offers to extend it in one click.
Reminders that respect answers
Each reminder says which meeting of the series it is and carries the join link. A teammate who answered “Can't make it” gets no reminder, and anyone can stop reminders for the series in one click.
Which plan does a remote team need?
A small team can run a daily stand-up on Free. Longer meetings, larger groups and AI notes need Pro, and Team adds shared booking for teams that also meet customers.
| Rhythm | What to plan for |
|---|---|
| 15-minute daily stand-up | Free works for up to 10 people: the 60-minute limit only matters for long calls |
| Weekly meeting over an hour | Pro or Team: no time limit for up to 2 simultaneous meetings per host account |
| Team of 11 to 25 people | Pro or Team: up to 25 participants per meeting |
| Decisions and action items | Pro or Team: AI summary, 10 hours a month, then a full transcript and a basic summary |
| Customer calls shared across the team | Team: round-robin booking links, $11.99 per seat a month or $119 per seat a year |
Pro costs $6.99 a month or $69 a year for one host. On Team, each paid active seat gets Pro, so the people who host recurring meetings need a seat while everyone they invite joins for free. The pricing page has the current table.
Tools that help a distributed team during the call
- Walk the board together. Share a task board or document and let others point with the pen, arrows and text. See screen sharing with annotations.
- Start an unplanned call from chat. The Slack integration posts a joinable call card with
/meeto; Pumble and Telegram have their own commands. - Call one colleague directly. Teammates with Meeto accounts can call each other from their contacts, like a phone call, in the browser or the apps.
- Keep the call usable on weak networks. Rooms run on the nearest media region (Europe or South-East Asia), quality steps down on a weak connection and recovers, and noise suppression is on by default on desktops.
- Keep the record. Pro and Team hosts can start an AI summary; it captures no video, shows everyone that it is on, and is never used to train AI models.
Who this is not for
Meeto is built for small and mid-sized meetings. It is the wrong tool when your team needs:
- all-hands meetings with more than 25 people, webinars or livestreaming;
- breakout rooms, polls or phone dial-in;
- sign-in through SSO or SAML for every employee;
- chat history: in-call chat is deleted when the meeting ends, so keep decisions in your team chat or the AI summary;
- a note-taking bot for meetings held in other tools. Meeto's AI works only inside Meeto calls.

Frequently asked questions
Do teammates need a Meeto account to join a recurring meeting?
No. Only the organizer needs an account to schedule the series. Invited teammates open the same link from the invitation or reminder in a current browser and join without an account or an app.
Does the Free plan's one-hour limit apply to every meeting in a series?
Yes. On Free, each meeting of the series is its own call: it stops after 60 minutes once 2 or more people are in it, with warnings at 5 and 1 minutes. The series link stays valid for the next date. A 15-minute stand-up fits easily; a longer weekly meeting needs Pro or Team.
Does the AI summary start on its own for each meeting in the series?
No. A Pro or Team host starts the AI summary in the meeting itself, and everyone in the call sees that it is on. After the call, the recap of each held meeting is linked from the series panel, so last week's decisions are one click away.
Can a teammate stop the reminder emails without leaving the meeting?
Yes. Every reminder email has a “Stop reminders for this series” link. The teammate stays invited and the meetings stay in their calendar; only the reminder emails for that series stop.
