Scheduling

Recurring meetings from the calendar

Press an empty slot in the Week view to set up a meeting or a whole series in one small window: how it repeats, when it ends, guests and their reminders. Dates that clash with your calendar are named before anyone is invited. Press a meeting of a series to open a panel beside the calendar with its dates — move or cancel one, open a past meeting's recap, or extend the series. Available on every plan. Read the announcement.

Emails

Reminder emails for your meeting guests

Guests you invite by email can get a reminder 1 day, 1 hour or 15 minutes before each meeting — up to two per meeting, one hour before by default for new meetings. A reminder in a series says which meeting it is, carries the join button, and lets the guest stop reminders for that series in one click while staying invited.

Calls

Simpler hang-up in one-to-one calls, tidier calendar

In a one-to-one call, hanging up now simply leaves. The choice between leaving and ending the meeting for everyone appears only when others stay, or while recording or AI summary is running. A meeting's page tells you when it is already in your calendar, so adding it again no longer makes a second copy, and an overnight calendar event shows once, with its full time range.

Dashboard

See who else is in a meeting you were invited to

When you are invited to a meeting, its page in your dashboard shows who invited you, marked as the host, and the other people in it with their email addresses. An invited Meeto user's address appears once they answer that they are going or might go. Accepted contacts now show their email address in Contacts.

Calls

Starting and joining a meeting is smoother

“Start a new meeting” works again for visitors whose earlier sign-in had expired, instead of asking them to sign in first. The lobby now asks for the camera and microphone in a single browser prompt, so starting the meeting no longer brings up a second request.

Calls

Removed participants stay out of the meeting

When a host removes someone, that person cannot rejoin the same meeting from the same link, browser or account, and new guests knock to enter until the meeting ends. Hosts see a Removed list under People and can choose Let back in.

Scheduling

An hour-by-hour Week and a full-size Month

On a computer, the Week view of Meetings is now a grid of hours that fills the window and shows your free time; press an empty half hour to schedule at that time. Month fills the window too, Home offers to connect Google Calendar in one step, and a booking no longer appears twice in your connected calendar.

AI summary

Recordings get useful names, summaries follow the conversation's language

A recording without a title is named after who was there and what the meeting was about, and the owner can rename it. The Recordings list shows whether a meeting left a video and a summary. AI summaries are written in the language most of the conversation was held in — how that works.

Calls

Cameras stay visible during screen sharing

While someone shares their screen, the presenter's camera and the other participants stay on screen next to the shared content. Full screen keeps the same layout as the window, so nothing disappears when you expand the call.

Integrations

Your calendar's events inside Meeto

Meetings and Home show the events of a connected Google or Apple (CalDAV) calendar next to your Meeto meetings, with their titles; private events are visible only to you. The Week and Month views also show busy time, and an event with an online meeting link gets a Join button shortly before it starts.

Scheduling

More ways to repeat a meeting

Repeating meetings now offer the options people expect from a calendar: every weekday, every two weeks on chosen days, monthly on a date or on a pattern such as the second Tuesday or the last day, ending on a date or after a number of meetings. You can move or cancel one date or edit the whole series, and a series takes a single row in your Meetings list at its next date.

Emails

Clearer emails, answers from the inbox and booking follow-ups

Meeting emails are shorter, with one block for when, who and how to join. Guests can answer “Yes, I'll join” or “Can't make it” straight from the email and add a note, and the organizer is told when someone cannot come. Bookings gained an optional message when you cancel or move them, Ask to pick another time, a follow-up after a missed booking, and a single reminder email an hour before.

Calls

Call sound follows your system, and a better chat box

Call audio plays wherever your computer's sound output points, so wireless earbuds no longer stay stuck on a speaker from an earlier call, and connecting a monitor mid-call no longer takes over the sound. In the chat, Shift+Enter starts a new line, an unsent message is not lost, and message times show in your own time zone.

Calls

A round of fixes across calls, booking and the dashboard

If the camera cannot turn on, Meeto explains why, and the lobby says when another app is using your camera or microphone. Guests who arrive early to a scheduled meeting see when it starts. A failed connection takes you back to the lobby with a connection test, and shared Meeto links now preview as a meeting, a recording or a booking page.

Scheduling

Invite guests to scheduled meetings by email

When you schedule a meeting you can add guests by email. They get an invitation with a calendar file, an update when the time changes and a notice when it is canceled, and you can edit the guest list on the meeting's card. A canceled meeting stays under Past, and every guest email has unsubscribe and report links.

Dashboard

A simpler dashboard Home and pricing page

Home has one main button to start a meeting, your coming week by day with Join buttons, and booking links you copy with one click. The scheduling form is simpler, hosts see who booked each slot, and a booking's calendar entry is named after the other person. The pricing page opens with the plan cards and a monthly or yearly switch, and on phones the dashboard has tabs at the bottom.

Calls

Calmer, clearer calls

Guests in the lobby see whose meeting they are joining, and join and leave notices appear as quiet bubbles by the participant list instead of over people's faces. If you leave a meeting that is still going, you see who is still there and can go back with one button. A weak connection shows as a small indicator by the timer, paused cameras show their last frame marked “Video paused”, and the speaker view no longer jumps on every short “uh-huh”.

Calls

Clearer recording status and other call polish

The call buttons show when recording or AI summary is on, and everyone hears two short notes when either starts or stops. You can delete your own chat message in one step, a saved summary PDF is named after the meeting and its date, and the view menu makes clear that a layout change affects only your screen.

Calls

Sharper, more honest screen sharing

Screen shares recover from a blurry picture without the presenter sharing again. Instead of a frozen or black frame, viewers see a label when the share is loading, the connection is weak or the presenter has paused it. Reconnecting no longer turns a muted microphone back on or shows false “left the call” notices.

Calls

Microphone, chat and background upgrades

The microphone button shows your voice level, Meeto reminds you when you talk while muted, you can hold Space to talk, and the lobby has a sound test. Chat links are clickable and you can delete a message for everyone (hosts can remove any message). You can keep up to five of your own background images, and the camera and microphone you pick stay selected for the whole call.

September 2026

Calls

Better video tiles, background blur and notifications

In small group grids, video tiles are no longer cropped so tightly that people look zoomed in. Background blur no longer lets colour from you bleed into the blurred area, the presenting label sits on the presenter's own tile, and notifications reach each person in their account's language.

Calls

Add people to a call that is already going

In a call, People → Add people invites one of your Meeto contacts into the meeting you are in: they get an incoming call and land in the same room. You can also copy the room link, and guests without an account can invite others by link.

Calls

Redesigned call controls

Call controls sit in a fixed bar at the bottom, with the room link and timer at the top and chat, recording and AI summary on the right. Device pickers sit next to the microphone and camera, a headset plugged in mid-call takes over with an Undo, and hosts can choose between leaving and ending the meeting for everyone.

Apps

iPhone: answer a contact's call with the app closed

On iPhone, a call from a contact now rings and connects even when the Meeto app is closed and the phone is locked: answer from the lock screen and the other person hears you right away. The video and mute buttons on the system call screen work too.

August 2026

Calls

Your own room knows you are the host

Open your own room while signed in and Meeto makes you the host on any device or browser — host controls and recording included — without asking for the room's password.

Calls

Voice or video when you call a contact, and QR invites

Calling a contact offers two buttons: a voice call with the camera off, or a video call. You can add people to your contacts with a one-time invite link, a short code or a QR code.

Calls

Calls that keep going

A call in the browser now survives locking the screen, switching tabs and short network drops. If something does go wrong you get a clear screen with a way back instead of an error page. Rejoining works even in a full room, Free meetings warn you 5 minutes and 1 minute before the free hour ends, and switching layouts during a screen share works again.

Calls

Contacts and direct calls

Add other Meeto users as contacts by their meeto.me name or email address, and once they accept, call them directly without creating a room or sending a link. In the browser an incoming call appears as a banner in your dashboard, and answering puts you both in the same room. You can also block people.

Dashboard

A faster dashboard and a call timer

Moving between dashboard sections is now instant, because your meetings, recordings, meeting types and schedules load in the background right after you sign in, and pages load faster on slow mobile connections. A new Call timer switch in the call settings shows how long the call has been going.

Calls

Meetings you start follow your plan

A meeting started with one click belongs to you straight away and follows your plan, so a Pro host's meeting no longer stops at the free one-hour mark. On Free, a one-off meeting link closes after its free hour, while your personal link, booking links and scheduled meetings keep working. The meeting timer is the same for everyone in the room.

Calls

Phone video looks right, noise suppression on by default

People joining from a phone's browser now appear upright, undistorted and with a wider frame, and turning the phone mid-call re-frames the picture for everyone. Noise suppression turns on by itself on computers that can handle it, and you can still switch it off.
