Online fitness classes and personal training sessions in the browser
Fitness trainers can run small live classes and one-to-one sessions in a browser room: schedule a weekly class as a recurring series with reminder emails, use the grid to watch everyone's form and mute everyone while you cue. Free fits classes of up to 10 people under an hour; Pro allows 25 people and longer sessions. There is no music mode.
How do you run a weekly class in Meeto?
Schedule the class once as a recurring series, invite members by email and teach from the same link every week.
- Create the series. For example “Mobility, Monday and Wednesday 07:00”, ending after the eight weeks of a programme or with no end date. Every class in the series uses the same link.
- Invite members. Add their emails; each one gets an invitation with the schedule in words and a calendar file. A Free meeting takes up to 10 guests and a Pro meeting up to 25.
- Set two reminders. One day before for “bring a mat and water”, and 15 minutes before with the join link. Members can stop reminders for the series in one click and stay invited.
- Teach in the grid. Switch the layout to Grid to see everyone, pin one member to check their form, or let members use Speaker view to follow you.
- Mute everyone while you cue. Mute all keeps background noise out; members unmute to ask a question, raise a hand or send a reaction between sets.
- Skip a holiday. Cancel a single date from the series panel. Invited members get a cancellation for that date and the rest of the series stays.
How does personal training fit in?
Use a booking page for first sessions and a recurring series for clients who train with you every week.
First session by booking
Publish an “Intro assessment” on your booking page with a question about goals or injuries you should know about. Each booking gets its own meeting link and a reminder an hour before.
Regular clients as a series
Bookings do not repeat, so schedule a weekly series for a regular client and invite them by email. Move a date from the series panel when either of you travels.
Missed sessions
If a client misses a booked session that you joined, Meeto can email them a “Pick another time” link that moves the same booking. It is a meeting-type setting, on by default.
How do you get music, sound and camera right?
Meeto is tuned for speech, so plan music and camera angles before the first class.
- Music. There is no dedicated music mode. Noise suppression, on by default on desktops, is built for voices and may thin out background music; you can switch it off in settings. Many trainers ask members to play the playlist on their own device instead.
- Mirroring. Meeto mirrors only your own preview. Members see you as the camera sees you, so cue side-specific moves as “your right” and expect members to mirror you.
- Framing. Put the camera at hip height, two or three metres away, so your whole body fits. Ask members to do the same if you want to check their form.
- Weak connections. On a weak network the call lowers quality automatically and can drop to the speaker's video only, then recovers. Rooms run in the nearest region, Europe or South-East Asia.
Which plan fits your classes?
| Plan | What to plan for |
|---|---|
| Free | Up to 10 participants; a class stops after 60 minutes once two people are in it; 1 booking meeting type; recurring classes and reminder emails included |
| Pro | $6.99/month or $69/year: up to 25 participants, no time limit for up to 2 simultaneous classes, 50 meeting types, recording |
Members never pay Meeto and never need an account. See the pricing page for the full table.
Who this is not for
Meeto suits trainers who teach small live groups and individual clients. It does not fit:
- studios that sell memberships, class passes or payment at booking through the scheduling tool;
- classes of more than 25 people, or livestreams to a large audience;
- an on-demand video library: recordings are kept for 90 days;
- classes that depend on high-fidelity music in the call.

Frequently asked questions
What happens at the 60-minute mark on the Free plan?
A Free class shows warnings 5 and 1 minutes before the end and stops after 60 minutes once 2 or more people are in it. The link of a recurring class stays valid, so the next class starts as usual. A 45- or 50-minute class fits comfortably.
Can I take payment for classes through Meeto?
No. Meeto does not take payment at booking or sell class passes. Take payment with the tool you already use, then send members the class link or invite them to the series.
Can members join from a phone?
Yes, in a phone browser or the Meeto app, without an account. A laptop or tablet a few metres away usually works better for a class: members see you larger, and you can see their whole body in the grid.
Can I record a class for members who missed it?
On Pro, yes, if everyone visible in the class agrees. Every participant sees a banner and an indicator when recording starts; the files are kept 90 days, and a share link to them can be switched off later.
