Sales consultations

Move a qualified prospect from interest to conversation

Put one useful next step on a landing page, proposal or email: book a time for a private consultation or open a clearly labeled shared call room. Meeto keeps the guest path in the browser so the sales conversation can start without an install.

A sales workflow that keeps the next step visible

  1. Match the call to buyer intent. Label the booking type with a concrete outcome, such as “workflow review” or “implementation questions”, instead of a generic “Demo”.
  2. Collect only useful context. Ask what the prospect wants to solve and which people should attend. Use the answers to prepare, not to create a long form that slows down booking.
  3. Offer honest availability. Connect a calendar and add a buffer. A prospect should see times you can actually attend, not a link that requires another scheduling email.
  4. Run the consultation in the browser. Share a product screen, answer questions and use chat for links. The guest can join without an account or download.
  5. Make follow-up explicit. End with the agreed next step and send the written material from your sales system. Use an optional paid-host recording only when the prospect has been informed.

For a longer discovery process, compare this flow with the consultant workflow. Both use scheduling and browser joining, but the copy should reflect the visitor's decision.

Choose the call surface by buyer intent

Private consultation

Use a public booking page when the prospect should choose a time and receive a separate scheduled meeting link.

Call us now

Use a named room or floating widget when a staffed team wants a shared destination on a pricing, support or campaign page.

Product walkthrough

Use an inline widget on a dedicated page when the call surface should sit beside the product explanation and a written fallback.

Do not describe a shared widget room as an individual appointment path. Configure the widget origin allowlist, test it from a second browser and say when someone is available.

Plan around your sales calendar

PlanCurrent limits and tools
FreeUp to 10 participants; 60-minute group-call limit once 2+ people are present; 1 meeting type and 1 connected calendar; no paid bookings
ProUp to 25 participants with no listed group-call duration cap; up to 50 meeting types and 5 calendars; paid bookings, cloud recording and 10 hours/month of AI summaries

Use the pricing page as the source for current prices and entitlements. Keep claims about integrations, follow-up and CRM ownership in the tools you have actually tested.

Frequently asked questions

Can a prospect book a sales consultation without an account?

Yes. A prospect can open your public booking page, choose an available slot and join the resulting browser meeting as a guest without a Meeto account or app download.

Should I use a widget or a booking page for sales?

Use a booking page when a prospect should choose a private appointment. Use a widget or named room when visitors should reach a shared call destination from your website. A shared room is not a private appointment path.

Can a paid host record a sales call?

Yes. Cloud recording and AI summaries require a paid host. Capture is opt-in and visibly indicated, so tell the prospect before recording and use your own retention policy.
