Video appointments and a website call button for small businesses
A small business can let customers book a video appointment, call from a button on its website and meet staff in a browser without installing anything. The booking page sends a confirmation and a reminder an hour before; the website widget is free on every plan; and the Team plan shares bookings across staff with one round-robin link.
Which customer path does your business need?
Most small businesses need one or two of these four paths. Start with the one customers ask for most, and add the others later.
Book an appointment
A booking page lists the services you offer by video, such as a design consultation, a quote walkthrough or an onboarding session. Each booking gets its own meeting link.
Talk now from the website
A floating or inline widget opens a browser call from your site. It joins a shared room, not a private queue, so someone on staff has to watch it during the hours you advertise.
Share the load across staff
On Team, one round-robin link spreads bookings across the people who can take them, so the customer sees one page and each booking lands with one teammate.
Regular clients
For a monthly review or a weekly session, schedule a recurring series with reminder emails at 1 day, 1 hour or 15 minutes before.
How do you set up video appointments in an afternoon?
Create the service, set the rules for when it can be booked, and test it as a customer before you publish the link.
- Create a meeting type per service. Give it a plain name, a length and a sentence on what the customer should prepare. Free includes 1 meeting type; Pro and Team allow up to 50.
- Ask for what you need in advance. Add a few booking-form questions, such as an order number or a short description of the job. Do not ask for card numbers or passwords.
- Set opening hours for video. Working hours, buffers between appointments, minimum notice, a daily limit and time off for holidays. Connect a Google or Apple calendar so existing appointments block those slots.
- Keep the reminder on. When a meeting type's reminder is on, the customer and the host get one email an hour before. If a customer misses the appointment, Meeto can send them a “Pick another time” email that moves the same booking.
- Put the link where customers look. Add the booking page to your website, email signature and social profiles. Your account's address, meeto.me/yourname, is also its booking page.
- Add a call button if you want one. Create a public widget key, allow your domain and paste the snippet, or use the WordPress plugin. The embedding guide has the steps.
- Test it on a phone. Book a slot as a customer would, open the confirmation on a phone and join. Fix anything that confused you before customers see it.
What does it cost a small business?
One person can start on Free. Staff who take long calls need Pro, and a shared team link needs Team.
| Plan | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Free | $0: 1 meeting type, 1 calendar, up to 10 participants, calls stop after 60 minutes once two people are in them |
| Pro | $6.99/month or $69/year per host: 50 meeting types, 5 calendars, up to 25 participants, recording and AI summaries |
| Team | $11.99 per seat a month or $119 per seat a year: Pro for each paid seat, round-robin team links and workspace webhooks |
| Website widget | Free on every plan; the “Powered by Meeto” badge always stays |
Customers and guests never pay and never need an account. The pricing page has the full comparison.
Who this is not for
Meeto works for businesses that meet customers face to face over video in small groups. It is the wrong fit if you need:
- a call centre with queues, phone numbers or phone dial-in;
- to take a deposit or payment when the customer books. Meeto does not take payment at booking;
- a white-label widget without Meeto branding;
- events for more than 25 people, webinars or livestreams;
- a record of in-call chat: chat is deleted when the meeting ends.
For appointments that are mostly advice, the consultants workflow goes deeper into the booking page.
Frequently asked questions
Do customers need to install an app or create an account?
No. A customer opens the booking confirmation or your website button in a current desktop or mobile browser and joins without an account. The browser may ask for camera and microphone permission the first time.
Can several staff members share one booking link?
Yes, on the Team plan. A round-robin team link at meeto.me/t/… offers the free times of the team and assigns each booking to one teammate. Each teammate who takes bookings needs a paid seat ($11.99 per seat a month); customers never need one.
Can we remove the “Powered by Meeto” badge from the widget?
No. The website widget and its SDKs are free on every plan, and the badge stays on all of them. Meeto does not offer a white-label version.
Does it work with a WordPress site?
Yes. A WordPress plugin is available as a zip download from the developer pages (it is not listed in the WordPress.org directory), and any other site can paste the HTML snippet. The widget's public key only works on the domains you allow.
