Turn a consultation request into a focused video call
Give a client one page to choose a time, answer the questions you need and join a browser meeting. Meeto keeps the scheduling step and the call link together, so you can spend the appointment on the work.
A consultation workflow with fewer hand-offs
- Describe the outcome. Name the meeting type after the result, such as “30-minute discovery call” or “Portfolio review”, and explain what the client should bring.
- Collect useful context. Add a small number of guest questions so you can prepare. Ask only for details that you will use during the call.
- Offer real availability. Set working hours and connect a calendar so a client does not pick a time that is already occupied.
- Meet in the browser. The confirmation includes a Meeto link. The client can join from a current desktop or mobile browser without an account or download.
When a client needs help immediately rather than an appointment, link to a shared website widget as a separate path. A widget room is shared; it does not create a private appointment queue.
Set up a consultation page clients can trust
Make the promise specific
State the length, intended audience and next step. “Review your onboarding funnel” tells a client more than “Book a call”.
Protect preparation time
Use a calendar connection, minimum notice and a buffer that reflect your real schedule. Check the page as a guest after publishing it.
Explain the call link
Tell clients that the link opens in a browser and that camera or microphone permission may be requested before joining.
Use the booking page editor to publish the page, then send its public URL in your profile, proposal or email signature.
Choose a plan around your consultation volume
| Plan | What to plan for |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 meeting type, 1 connected calendar, up to 10 participants and 60-minute group calls when 2+ people are present |
| Pro | Up to 50 meeting types and 5 calendars; paid bookings, cloud recording and 10 hours/month of AI summaries |
| Recording | Paid host required; capture is opt-in, visibly indicated and retained according to the current product policy |
Review the pricing page before making a promise in a proposal. Plan entitlements can change, and the current table is the source for published limits.
Frequently asked questions
Can a client book a consultation without a Meeto account?
Yes. A client opens your public booking page, chooses an available slot and can join the resulting browser meeting as a guest without creating a Meeto account.
What happens if I need more than one consultation type?
Free includes 1 meeting type. Pro includes up to 50 meeting types, so you can separate an introductory call, a review and a longer session on one booking page.
Can I record a consultation?
Cloud recording and AI summaries require a paid host. Capture is opt-in and a visible recording indicator is shown to participants when it starts; tell the client before recording.
