Should you choose Meeto or Zoho Meeting?

Choose Meeto if

  • You want recording, a transcript and an AI summary on one $6.99 plan, rather than Zoho's Professional tier.
  • Clients book a time on your booking page without a second product to set up.
  • You want a call button or an embedded call on your website on any plan.
  • Your calls have 25 people or fewer.

Choose Zoho Meeting if

  • Your free meetings need more than 10 people, or paid meetings more than 25.
  • You need breakout rooms, polls, phone dial-in or end-to-end encryption.
  • You run webinars; Zoho sells them as separate Webinar plans.
  • Your company already uses Zoho CRM, Zoho Bookings or other Zoho apps.

What do you pay for the same features?

Zoho Meeting's entry price is lower than Meeto's, but its plans add features in steps. Compare the plan you would actually need:

  • Meetings that fit a free plan: both stop at 60 minutes; Zoho allows 100 people, Meeto 10. Neither free plan records.
  • Longer meetings with recording: Zoho Standard starts at $2 per host a month for 10 participants, with 5 GB of cloud recording per host. Meeto Pro costs $6.99 a month for up to 25 people and keeps recordings 90 days.
  • Transcripts and AI notes: Zoho lists them on Professional only. Meeto Pro includes a transcript and an AI summary for 10 hours of meetings a month.
  • Booking and a website call: with Zoho that means Zoho Bookings and the Professional widget. With Meeto the booking page and the widget come with every account.

Check Zoho's pricing page for the tier that matches your meeting size; each tier is priced separately.

What Meeto does not do

Meeto is built for small meetings that start from a link, a booking page or a website button. Paid plans hold up to 25 participants, and Meeto does not offer:

  • End-to-end encryption
  • Webinars or livestreaming
  • Breakout rooms
  • Polls
  • Phone dial-in
  • SSO / SAML single sign-on
  • Live captions over the call video

If any of these is a requirement, test it in Zoho Meeting or another tool first. The full Meeto limits are on the pricing page and the security overview.
