Booking page

What is a booking page?

A booking page is a public web page that shows the times you are free, so another person can pick a slot and receive the meeting details without an exchange of emails. The page reads your working hours and calendar, offers only open slots in the visitor's own time zone, and sends both sides the confirmed details.

How does a booking page work?

You set it up once. You describe what can be booked, for example a 30-minute introduction or a one-hour consultation, often called a meeting type. You set the hours you are available and connect the calendar you already use, so busy times are hidden automatically. Rules such as buffers, minimum notice and a daily limit keep the schedule realistic.

The visitor sees only the times that pass all of those checks, already converted to their own time zone. They pick one, answer any questions you ask, and confirm. Both sides then receive the details: the time, a link to join and a way to add the meeting to a calendar. Good booking tools also send a reminder and let the guest reschedule or cancel without writing to you.

Why does a booking page matter?

It replaces the back-and-forth of “Does Tuesday at 3 work?”, which is slow at best and error-prone across time zones. Because the page reads your calendar, it avoids double bookings, and reminders with easy rescheduling reduce missed meetings.

It is not the right tool for every meeting. When several people inside a team need to agree on a time, or a meeting repeats every week with the same group, a scheduled meeting that you create and send yourself is simpler. For a team that shares inbound meetings, a round-robin link spreads bookings across people.

How do booking pages work in Meeto?

Every Meeto account gets a personal address, meeto.me/your-name, which is your public booking page. Each booked meeting comes with its own Meeto video room, and guests join it from the browser without an account.

Frequently asked questions

Does a guest need an account to book a time?

No. A guest opens the booking page, picks a slot, enters their name and email and receives the meeting details. Booking a time and joining the call are free for guests, and they join from the browser without installing anything.

What if the guest needs a different time later?

The confirmation email carries reschedule and cancel links, so the guest can move or cancel the booking without writing to you. You can also reschedule from your dashboard, and the guest gets an email with the new time.

Is a booking page the same as a meeting link?

No. A booking page is where someone chooses a time. Each confirmed booking then gets its own meeting link, which is what both of you open to join the call.

Can I hide my booking page for a while?

Yes. In Meeto, turn off "Booking page is public" in your booking page settings. The page stays hidden from visitors until you turn the switch back on.
