Keep Meeto booking slots in sync with Google Calendar
Connect one Google account, let Meeto check busy times before offering a slot and use the same booking workflow to create eligible meeting events. The connection is managed from Availability after sign-in.
Availability first, event sync when eligible

Availability is cached briefly to avoid repeated provider requests, so a calendar change made seconds ago can take a short time to affect a public booking page. Keep a buffer between meetings when a schedule is sensitive.
Connect Google Calendar
- Sign in to Meeto. Open Availability in the dashboard.
- Choose Connect next to Google Calendar. Meeto redirects to Google for one consent screen that covers busy-time lookup and event creation.
- Review the Google account. Choose the calendar account you use for bookings and finish consent. Meeto returns to Availability with the connected address.
- Publish and test. Open a public booking link in a private window, create a temporary busy event in Google Calendar and confirm that the corresponding slot disappears.
OAuth must complete in a signed-in browser. The public booking guest never sees the host's calendar data; they only see slots that remain available.

The connection cap is shared across Google, Outlook and CalDAV/Apple connections. Reconnecting the same Google address refreshes the existing connection instead of consuming another slot. A Free downgrade can suspend extra calendars while preserving their settings for a later upgrade.
Permissions and safe expectations
Busy-time scope
Meeto uses Google's free/busy endpoint to avoid offering times that are already occupied. It does not publish the event titles to a guest-facing booking page.
Event scope
The connection asks for calendar event permission in the same consent flow. If granular consent omits it, availability continues but automatic host event creation is unavailable.
Guest calendar links
A confirmed booking can still include a Google Calendar add link for the guest. That is separate from the host's connected-calendar sync.
Meeto refreshes the OAuth access token server-side and protects the connection behind your account. Review privacy and data handling before connecting a work calendar. If the connection fails, reconnect from Availability and verify that the Google account still grants access.
Frequently asked questions
What does Google Calendar integration do?
Meeto reads busy periods from a connected Google Calendar and removes those periods from available booking slots. On an eligible Pro account with the calendar.events permission, confirmed meetings can also be written to the primary calendar.
How many Google Calendars can I connect?
The current Free plan allows one connected calendar. Pro and Team allow up to five connected calendars. The cap covers connected calendar providers together, not five calendars per provider.
Can I use Google Calendar event creation on Free?
Free users can connect a calendar for busy-time checks, but Meeto only writes new events when the account is Pro and Google granted the calendar.events scope. Guests can still add a confirmed booking to their own calendar from the invitation.
What happens when I disconnect Google Calendar?
Meeto stops using the connection for availability and future event sync. Meetings already added to Google Calendar stay there until you remove them manually.
