Free scheduling tools

Free scheduling tools compared

Most scheduling tools have a free plan, but they draw the line in different places. Cal.com and TidyCal give unlimited booking types; Calendly, Google appointment schedules, Reclaim and Meeto give one. Cal.com, Google, Zoom Scheduler and Meeto include the video call; Cal.com, TidyCal, Reclaim and Meeto send free reminders. Seven free plans compared, each fact linked to its source.

Free plans only

Every tool here can take bookings without a paid plan. SavvyCal is left out for that reason: you can set up links for free, but bookings need Basic or Premium[1]. If you are moving from Calendly and are ready to pay, the Calendly alternatives page compares paid plans too.

How we chose these alternatives

Each product had to be available today and to publish its limits on its own pages. We compared them on the same points:

What we checked for every product
CriterionWhat we looked at
Free booking typesHow many kinds of meeting (event types, booking pages) the free plan allows.
Free calendarsHow many calendars the free plan checks for conflicts.
Video meetingWhether the tool runs the call itself, or adds a link from Zoom, Google Meet or Teams.
RemindersWhether guests get reminder emails before the meeting, and on which plan.
GuestsWhether a person booking needs an account. None of the tools here requires one.
PriceThe cheapest paid plan in USD as the vendor lists it, with its billing period.

This page is published by Meeto, one of the products on it. Meeto's limits are printed as plainly as the others', including what it does not do. No vendor paid to be listed, and there are no affiliate links.

Products appear in alphabetical order; this is not a ranking. Every figure about another product links to the vendor's own page, quoted as read on November 3, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Which free scheduling tool includes video calls?

Cal.com has its own Cal Video, Google Calendar appointment schedules use Google Meet, Zoom Scheduler books Zoom meetings, and Meeto books each guest into its own browser meeting. Calendly and Reclaim add links from Zoom, Google Meet or other apps; TidyCal adds them on paid plans.

Which free booking tools send reminders to guests?

Cal.com, TidyCal, Reclaim and Meeto send reminders on their free plans. Calendly keeps automated reminders for paid plans, and Google appointment schedules treat them as a premium feature.

Is SavvyCal free?

Not for bookings. SavvyCal lets you sign up, connect calendars and set up links for free, but people can book from your links only on its Basic or Premium plan. That is why it is not in the list above.

Which free plan lets me take payment at booking?

Cal.com (Stripe and PayPal) and TidyCal (PayPal and Stripe, with a 1% platform fee). Calendly takes payments on paid plans, Google on eligible Workspace subscriptions. Meeto does not take payments at booking.
