Agency partner workflow
Deliver a tested video call experience for every client
Use Meeto as a repeatable part of a website project: choose the right call surface, configure the allowed origin, install the widget and hand off a working meeting path with clear ownership.
Choose the client flow before choosing the code
Start with the visitor's intent. A clear decision prevents an agency from presenting a shared room as a private booking system or placing a floating call button where a scheduled consultation is required.
| Client requirement | Recommended Meeto surface |
|---|---|
| A visitor wants help right now | Floating widget or instant browser meeting |
| A lead should select a consultation time | Public booking page with a meeting type |
| Existing customers need one support destination | Named shared widget room |
| A campaign needs a dedicated call page | Inline widget on the campaign page |
Document the selected flow in the project brief. Link to the browser joining guide when the client needs to explain the guest experience.
Agency starter checklist
- Confirm ownership. Decide who owns the Meeto account, billing, domain allowlist and support after launch. Record the decision in the hand-off.
- Create a test key. Add the staging origin first. Use a separate production key or update the allowlist when the client's final domain is known.
- Install the smallest surface. Use the HTML loader for a static site, the WordPress plugin for WordPress, or a framework package for a custom application. Read the developer documentation for events and public-key rules.
- Configure the room semantics. Name a shared room clearly, or link a booking page for appointment-specific calls. Do not reuse one shared room for private client appointments.
- Test two participants. Join from another browser or device, grant camera and microphone permissions, check mobile layout and verify the close and fallback paths.
- Write the hand-off. Include the allowed origin, where to change the widget settings, who handles support and the current plan limits. Keep server credentials out of page source.
The widget dashboard is where the account owner creates an embed key. An embed key is public and origin-locked; it does not replace server-side authorization for private APIs.
Make the client hand-off easy to maintain
Give the client a short runbook
List the production URL, selected widget mode, room name or booking link, allowed origins and the browser test that passed. Add the date of the last check.
Separate your service from the product
Quote installation, design, training and support as your own agency services. Link the client to current Meeto pricing for subscription limits and billing.
Keep a fallback nearby
Leave an email or phone path near the call for visitors whose browser, device permissions or network cannot carry real-time media.
Meeto branding remains visible in the widget on every plan. Check the current plan facts before promising participant counts, recording, AI summaries or booking capacity to a client.
Discuss attribution before you promote a referral
Agency implementation work and Meeto referral arrangements are different things. This page does not publish a commission rate, automatic payout programme, reseller discount or white-label entitlement.
If the team discusses a referral or co-marketing arrangement, ask for written terms covering who is eligible, how a referral is attributed, what happens after a refund and when any payment is due. Do not describe an enquiry as an approved partner programme.
Email Meeto about a client pilot or read the general partner information.
Frequently asked questions
Can an agency install Meeto on a client's website?
Yes. Use the HTML loader, Web Component, WordPress plugin or a framework package. Create an origin-locked public embed key, allow the client's production origin and test the complete call from a second browser before hand-off.
Should an agency use a widget or a booking page?
Use a widget for an immediate call or a shared support destination. Use a booking page when each visitor should choose a time and receive a meeting link for that appointment. A named widget room is shared and is not a private appointment queue.
Can an agency sell a white-label Meeto implementation?
Do not promise white-label branding. Meeto branding remains visible in the widget. You can sell your own implementation, training or support service, but describe your service separately from the Meeto subscription and confirm any special commercial arrangement in writing.
Does Meeto automatically pay agency referrals?
There is no published automatic commission or affiliate payout on this page. If a referral, reseller or co-marketing arrangement is discussed, confirm eligibility, attribution, rewards, refunds and payment terms in writing before promoting it.
Who should own the client's Meeto account?
Agree this before implementation. A practical arrangement is for the client to own the account and billing while the agency owns the website integration and a documented hand-off. Keep host secrets with the account owner and out of browser code.
