How to create a video meeting link
Open Meeto, create an instant room and copy one invite URL from the host lobby. Send that link to a guest and they can join your browser call without downloading software or creating an account.
Create and share the link in four steps
- Open Meeto. Go to meeto.me and choose Start a new meeting. Meeto creates an instant room and opens the host lobby.
- Copy the URL. In the host lobby, find the share area and choose Copy link. The URL is the address your guest uses to enter this room.
- Invite a guest. Paste the URL into the message, email or calendar invite you already use. The guest does not need to install Meeto or create an account.
- Join the conversation. The guest chooses a display name and checks their devices in the lobby. Once they join, use camera, microphone, chat, reactions or screen sharing as needed.
If your own camera or microphone is blocked, keep the link and use the device troubleshooting guide before asking the guest to retry.
Choose the link type that fits the meeting

An instant Free room supports up to 10 participants and 60 minutes once two or more people are present. Read the pricing page before promising a different limit.
Host checklist before you send the URL
Test the room
Join the lobby yourself, choose a clear display name and verify that the selected camera and microphone are the devices you expect.
Explain the join path
Tell the guest they can use a current browser, allow device permissions only if they want video or audio and join as a guest.
Plan the next meeting
If the conversation needs a recurring schedule, link to an online booking page instead of forwarding an expired instant-room URL.

Can I create a Meeto meeting link for free?
Yes. An instant room can be created from the Meeto home page at no charge. The current Free plan supports up to 10 participants and 60 minutes once two or more people are in the call.
Does the person I invite need an account?
No. Guests can open the shared URL, choose a display name and join from a current browser. The host can use an account for reusable settings and paid features, but an account is not required for a guest to enter an invited room.
Can I reuse an instant meeting link?
An instant free link is intended for the current call and expires at the Free limit. For a reusable scheduled destination, create a booking page or use a named shared room through the widget workflow; choose the one that matches whether visitors should pick a time or join a shared room.
What if my guest cannot join the link?
